Most painting projects start with a simple want: a home that feels fresher, more current, or better cared for. The surface underneath usually decides how the project turns out, so we start there.
Dated interior colors, scuffed walls, old wallpaper, textured or uneven walls, and weathered deck boards are the kinds of conditions homeowners bring to us. Each one points to a different service, and sometimes to a combination, which is why the conversation comes first.
Inside the home

How the Services Relate
Many projects move through more than one service. Understanding how they connect helps you picture the full scope before we start, and helps us plan the work in the right order.
These are separate services, though, and we confirm the full scope with you before any work begins, and nothing is automatically included. If a project needs wallpaper removal and skim coating before paint, we talk that through with you rather than assuming.
Wallpaper removal → painting
Removing old wallpaper is often the first step toward a fresh painted wall. Once the paper and adhesive are gone, the wall is ready for the next finish, which may be paint directly, or skim coating first if the surface needs smoothing.
Skim coating → painting
Skim coating smooths textured or uneven walls so paint lays down evenly. It's the step that makes a paint finish look clean and professional rather than showing every imperfection underneath.
Painting & deck finishing
Painting is the final finish on a prepared surface, inside on walls and ceilings, and on decks as stain or paint. Each setting uses different products and follows a different timeline.
